It is with great sadness that I have to advise that Tony Walkerdine has passed away. I had only just started to get to know Tony and Sally and this news has come as a great shock. My heartfelt condolences go out to Sally, and Tony’s family.
Tony was just aged 80 years and although he had only been a club member for some two years, he was well known and popular in the area.
When details of the funeral arrangements are known, with the family’s approval, I will be in contact again.
