Forthcoming Entertainment at the Club

Hi everyone

Firstly, I would just like to thank Derek “The Djook” and his band of DJ’s for putting on a really good club Vinyl night last evening. We had over three dozen in attendance and the theme “Relations” delivered a really good selection of old tracks. Really enjoyed it. I hadn’t heard “Son of My Father” and “My Brother Jake” and quite a few others for some years.

Next month’s theme is “Down On The Farm”, 8pm, 18th March. So if you have a vinyl collection and fancy being a DJ for 20 minutes, please come on down. No experience required – I am sure Derek will be only too pleased to lend a guiding hand!

Every Friday 2pm – 4pm – “The Al Sansome Blues Band”

Always a great afternoon, with this week’s main guest, well known singer and guitarist, Andy Wales.

Thursday 27th February 8pm – Monthly Jazz Night

This month we have on stage “The Doctor Peppermint’s Cocktail Party Reunion”. You will know most of the musicians who have played here regularly with other bands – ask them the story behind the name of the band!

Complimentary cheese and biscuits, pork pie and accompaniments at the bar.

Saturday 1st March 845pm – “Seriously Collins”

The Phil Collins & Genesis Tribute Show – Check out this band’s website. They go from the club to playing at the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham at the weekend and all over the country during the year.

Tuesday 4th March 8pm – “Kenny Wilson”

Rolling Stones, Beatles, Bob Dylan and so much more. Kenny’s third month playing at the club, settling in very well – will be a good night.
