Hi everyone
Bar Prices – Increase March 2025
Following recent notification of the brewery annual price increase, please find attached full details of our new drink / confectionery prices. In short, the price rises range between 3%-5%, but still remain very competitive when viewed against locally based pubs.
We believe the new prices (the first for 12 months) are very reasonable given the current state of the economy and continuing pressure of constantly increasing running costs. We are also facing a substantial uplift in staffing costs with the double whammy of Living Wage and NI increases next month – these two lines of expenditure alone will raise the wage bill by £7000 – £8000 per annum. Subject to no adverse news in any future budget(s), we hope the prices will remain unchanged until March 2026.
Cambridge Coach Trip – 14th May 2025
It is very pleasing that 77 members have booked seats on the coach and we only have seven seats still available! If those who have booked could pay for the trip by the end of March, that would be appreciated – many thanks.
