For the one vacancy on the committee:

• Jonathan Allen 26 votes
• Andrew Smith 25 votes

Therefore Jonathan Allen was elected to serve on the committee, commencing the May monthly meeting.

Congratulations to Jon and commiserations to Andy in what was an extremely close contest. 51 members voted over the two nights, representing a 10% turnout (Down on the 15% turnout in 2024).

With many thanks to the scrutineers Vikki Emery and Richard Glover for doing a very professional job and also Russell Emery our third scrutineer who rechecked the count, bearing in mind the closeness of the result and also all the members who used their vote.
