120 Club Draw – April

Job Vacancy – Bar Staff

We have one position which will shortly become available in the club bar team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with good communication and organisational skills to work alongside our existing well managed team. The role will involve three shifts per week, equating to 20 hours per week. Ideal if any one is looking for part-time work. Because of our licence requirements, any candidate must be aged 18 years or over. Full training and formal induction programme will be provided.

Not exhaustive, but bar duties will include:

• Mixing and serving alcoholic and soft drinks
• Serving snacks
• Ensuring bar cleanliness and hygiene
• Accurately taking payments
• Re-stocking the bar
• Ability to work alone on occasion

Job Vacancy – Club Cleaner

We will also have to fill the position of Club Cleaner as Richard is retiring this summer.

The role will involve five early mornings each week, including weekends,10 hours in total per week. Full training will be provided.

Over the last few years many new staff have been from members’ recommendations or word of mouth. If any member is interested in either position or can recommend somebody they know, could please advise me by email or call into the club and speak to any of the team or member of the committee. If CV’s can be provided that would greatly assist the selection process.

Summer Coach Trip – Wednesday 6th August 2025 – Skegness

I am pleased to confirm that the club has booked two 55 seater coaches (110 spaces) for this year’s summer outing to Skegness.

Details:

• Club opens at 7am for coffee / tea / biscuits.
• Coaches depart from the club at 8am promptly.
• Coaches leave Skegness at 530pm, try to get back to coach by 515pm.
• Arrive back at the club around 745pm-8pm.
• Cold Buffet on return (Sandwiches / Samosas / Pork Pie etc)
• Cost £15 Members / £20 guests / Children free.

Usual booking list to be kept behind the bar. Please let Rebecca and her team know or email me. It would be very helpful if payment for the coach could be made at the time of booking.
