Neil Taylor

It is with very great sadness that I must advise you that club member and former Club Secretary Neil Taylor passed away last week whilst on a trip to North Wales with two of his closest friends.

Neil had just celebrated his 73rd birthday and was a regular in the club and known by many. His tenure as Club Secretary was between July 2016 and July 2017. He will be missed.

As his death was sudden without obvious cause, a post mortem was held yesterday in Bangor after which time Neil’s body will be returned to Leicester.

Remembrance Book

Karen and Guy Closs are collating a book for Neil’s family which they emphasise is not a book of condolences, but rather stories and happy memories or photos of Neil.

If any members can make contributions, these would be very welcome and appreciated, either by email (below) or hand written where Karen will collect from the club.

In closing, once I have further details regarding the arrangements I will advise you all. It is, however, likely that Neil’s Celebration of Life will be held at the club.
