What’s On – The Next Ten Days

We’ve got a busy 10 days or so coming up at the club, so I thought I’d provide a quick reminder of what’s on:

Bingo starts promptly at 7.15 pm, with the Disco commencing around 8 pm. Second session of Bingo, with two further games at approximately 9.30 pm. Disco then back until 11.1.5pm.

Bingo entry is free, but only one set of Bingo Cards per member.

“Sliphorn” are a very accomplished jazz band who make a welcome return to the club. Complimentary cheese and biscuits plus pork pie and accompaniments at the bar as usual.

In the World Cup Sweepstake, there are 48 teams. Still eight spaces left. £10 entry with loads of prizes. Seven different ways to win either cash or alcohol. Overall winner does get £200.

“Covernote” is a local seven-piece covers band who play old favourites with modern-day classics from funk to soul, pop to disco.

Featuring Phil Riley, Chris Chambers and Mick Mangan.

Phil was Kenny’s guest last month. Kenny is currently on holiday, but will be back next month. Reynard Lite is one of the bands Kenny plays in, so expect a great night.

Plus, of course, our usual Thursday lunchtime Jazz session with The Jazz Crew and Friday afternoon Blues sessions with The Al Sansome Blues Band.
