Coach Trips
A big thank you to all the members and guests who came on the Cromer outing. It was a full coach, and I thought it was a really enjoyable day.
The Worcester Christmas trip is nearly sold out with only four spaces still remaining – many thanks for the amazing support.
What’s On – Next Week Ten Days
1) Tonight, Tuesday 11th August – Monthly Quiz 8pm
This month Jean and Steve are asking the questions!
2) Thursday 13th August – Lunchtime Jazz
Stuart and the Jazz Crew are back between 12:30pm and 2:30pm playing some easy listening music.
3) Friday 14th August – Double Header of Music
First up: The Al Sansome Blues Band, 1.30pm to 4pm
Then: Reynard Collective, 8pm – 10pm
Reynard Collective is a group of five local musicians featuring Kenny Wilson, who plays regularly at the club on the first Tuesday of the month. The Band play regularly at venues and festivals in Leicestershire and beyond.
4) Saturday 15th August – Denzil’s Disco
Following his successful discos this year, Denzil is back this Saturday night “Spinning Good Times”.
5) Tuesday 18th August – Vinyl Night
Come on down and spin some of your own records – this month’s theme is “Cover Versions”. No experience is required; Derek will be only too pleased to help you if required.
