15 December 2025
Good afternoon everyone
It is with great sadness that I must advise you that club member Steven Johnson passed away last week, although I have no other details as yet. Very sad news and I would like to offer my heartfelt condolences to all Steven’s family and friends.
Steven, aged 64, was a club member for just under two years, but was well known to quite a few of our regulars.
Once further details are known including the funeral arrangements, I will let you all know.
Thank you.

30 December 2025: Funeral arrangements
Following on from my email of 15th December, I am now able to provide details of the funeral arrangements for Steve.
The service is to be held at The Countesthorpe Crematorium on 9th January at 1pm.
Thereafter, the Remembrance of Life for Steve will be held at the Elms Social Club in Wigston, LE18 2BA.
Everyone is welcome.
Two of his closest friends have advised that a big turn-out is expected, hence the need for a large venue for the Remembrance of Life.
Thank you.
