Just a quick reminder of upcoming events at the club:
This Thursday and Friday
The usual weekly music with The Jazz Crew (Thursday 1230pm – 230pm) and Friday with The Al Sansome Blues Band (130pm – 4pm)
Monday 3rd August, 7:30pm – “Steve and Friends”
Steve and Friends return for an evening of musical entertainment. Always an enjoyable night—I’m hopeful of a good turnout.
Tuesday 4th August 8pm – “Kenny Wilson”
Kenny is on stage for his popular monthly visit to the club.
This month his special guest is the very talented “Mike Pruden” who needs no introduction, having performed at the club most weeks over the last two years.
Saturday 8th August 8pm – Victorian Bingo Evening
The 140th anniversary celebrations continue with a bingo evening. Please see the attached poster.
While writing:
1) The World Cup sweepstake prizes are behind the bar for the lucky members who are one of the winners.
2) Don’t forget the Cromer trip next Wednesday, 5th August, leaving the club promptly at 07.30am sharp! There are still 10 people to pay and coincidentally we have 10 on the waiting list – If you are not going to Cromer would you please advise me by Friday so I may offer tickets to members on the reserve list? Thank you.
