Some updates:

Snooker Cue Sale

Just to let you know that this has now been rescheduled at the club and will take place on 27th May 2024 at 8pm. Graham Taylor is the organiser.

Club Yard

I am pleased to advise that the yard, wall and steps have been cleaned and looks very much better. Many thanks to Ryan Kind for his five hours of hard work last Monday. We are also looking to refurbish the three tables and chairs in the next couple of weeks or so and provide new ash trays.

To keep the yard as clean and  welcoming as possible, I would ask the cigarette smokers if they would use the receptacles provided and if possible refrain from just flicking their cigarette butts on the ground or the adjoining roof – thank you.

Oxford Trip

There are a couple of spaces available if anyone wants to come along at short notice.

Details:

·         Date of Trip – Wednesday 22nd May 2024.

·         Departs 830am from the club. Tea / coffee, biscuits available from 730am.

·         Arriving in Oxford around 1015am (hopefully)

·         Depart 515pm, arrive back at the club approximately 7pm.

·         There will be a traditional cold buffet available on return (not a grazing table).

·         Cost £15 members / £20 Guests.

Upcoming Entertainment:

Tuesday 21st May – Vinyl Night, theme Cop and Robbers.

Saturday 25th May – “West End Edition”. A Disco+Funk Experience.

Thursday 30th May – Jazz Night, “Tiny Capers Quartet” featuring “Lisa Millett” on vocals.
