Hi everyone

I hope you all had a very merry Christmas and happy new year celebrations. We were certainly busy at the club over the festive period and I thank you all for ensuring the club was a hive of activity.

Well 2025 is here and I am taking the opportunity to advise the forthcoming events at the club over the next week or so:

 

Tuesday 7th January, 8pm – Kenny Wilson

Kenny makes his debut at the club and will be playing the first Tuesday of each month. Hopefully this can become an established and successful club evening. Kenny is very well known locally having played at many venues, either as a solo artist or in various duo’s and bands.

 

Thursday 9th January 1230pm – 230pm – Jazz Crew

Stuart Battle and the rest of the crew will be providing the music – worth a visit – relaxing easy listening jazz.

 

Friday 10th January 2pm – 4pm – Al Sansome Blues Band

Al and the band have been playing Friday’s for over two months now and this event is turning into one of the highlights of the week.

 

Friday 10th January 7pm – George’s Leaving Do

Most members will be aware that George is emigrating to New Zealand at the end of the month. We will miss him greatly as he has worked very hard behind the bar during his time with us. He has been a really important member of the team as I think all members will agree.

Adrian and Russ will be running a disco that evening with a cold buffet provided. All members are invited.

 

Tuesday 14th January 8pm – Quiz Night

First quiz of the year with Adrian Welsh asking the questions.
