Dear Members
It is with great sadness that I have to advise that Tony Walkerdine has passed away. I had only just started to get to know Tony and Sally and this news has come as a great shock. My heartfelt condolences go out to Sally, and Tony’s family.
Tony was just aged 80 years and although he had only been a club member for some two years, he was well known and popular in the area.
When details of the funeral arrangements are known, with the family’s approval, I will be in contact again.

3 May 2024: Funeral arrangements
Good morning everyone
Following my earlier email, I can advise that the funeral of Tony Walkerdine will take place at 11.00am on Monday 20th May 2024 at Countesthorpe Crematorium and afterwards back at the Club.
Sally Walkerdine has confirmed that:
- All are welcome to attend.
- Black is optional.
- No Flowers please.
- Donations if wished to Colostomy UK c/o Paul Pender & Son, The Shakespeare, 226 Braunstone Lane, Leicester LE3 3AS.
