Karaoke and Disco Nights

Karaoke Night Friday 15th May 2026

Jude and Karen who are arranging this event have asked me to pass on the following message to give you an idea of what to expect that evening.

“The 140th Celebrations continue with a Karaoke Night on Friday 15th May 2026 at 8.00 pm.
From Sinatra to Sting, Bassey to Beyoncé and even ZZ Top, we’ve got them all! So come along, choose a song and give it some welly!

To keep in with our Victorian theme, half way through the night there will be an Old Time Music Hall singalong where we can all belt out some of the old favourites: “My Old Man’s a Dustman”, “Daisy Daisy”, “Down at the Old Bull and Bush’”plus plenty more!

So do a bit of gargling, clear your throat and get ready to raise the roof!

We look forward to seeing you all on the 15th May”

 

Disco Night Saturday 23rd May 2026

Darrell (Denzil) Moore has kindly offered to run a disco for the club on Saturday 23rd May. Hopefully the disco’s will run throughout the summer.

Denzil has all the required kit and lighting and is an accomplished DJ. If Denzil’s last disco in January is anything to go by, this should be a cracking night so please make a note in your diaries and come along.
