What’s On – This Week

Hi everyone

I hope everybody is well. I just thought I would provide a brief update of “What’s On” at the club this coming seven days.

As well as our usual Thursday lunchtime Jazz sessions with “The Jazz Crew” and the ever popular “Al Sansome Band” on Friday afternoons together with the England World Cup opener versus Croatia on Wednesday evening, 9pm kick off; we have:

Tuesday 16th June  – Vinyl Night 8pm

The Djook will be here for his regular monthly vinyl night.

This month’s theme: “Fish & Chips” Lateral thinking and puns welcome. If you fancy being a DJ for a while, come on down with your singles and LP’s. If you’ve never done it before, Derek will be sure to lend a guiding hand!

Thursday 18th June – Monthly Jazz Night 8pm

This month the “Cool Jazz Trio” return for another evening’s entertainment, plus guests!

As usual complimentary cheese and biscuits, pork pie and accompaniments will be provided on the bar.

Saturday 20th June – Midsummer Ball and Bubble Disco “Through The Decades” – 8pm

The 140th Anniversary celebrations continue with our Midsummer Ball and Disco. DJ Denzil in charge. All Members and their Guests are very welcome.

Sunday 21st June – Comedy At The Club 7pm – 9pm

Following the resounding success of the December Comedy Night, our very own professional comedian Masai Graham has worked very hard to put together another top class line up for this Sunday.

It will be a similar format to previous events – we had over 90 members and guests last time and this week’s comedians are equally well known on the circuit. Looking forward to this to round off the weekend and the Queens Road fair.
