AGM / SGM Voting Update

Good morning everyone

 

We had a successful and reasonably well-attended Annual General Meeting and Special General Meeting last Monday. During the evening, five motions required a vote by the members present. They were as follows:

AGM

Motion:

To adopt the minutes of the 137th Annual General Meeting held on the 28th April 2025 as a true and accurate record.

Proposed by Charles Orr, seconded by Steve Kilby – CARRIED

 

Motion: 

To formally approve and adopt the December 2024 Audited Accounts into the club records.

Proposed by Andrew Humpherson, seconded by Karen Mallard – CARRIED

 

Motion:

That Robertson & co continue as the club’s auditors.

Proposed by Charles Orr, seconded by John Sharpe – CARRIED

 

Motion:

To create a Panel of Arbitrators. Essentially an appeals panel, which may be required should any member be subject to Disciplinary proceedings.

Proposed by Lee Jones, seconded by Andrew Smith – CARRIED

 

SGM

To make amendments to nine club rules.(Please see attached breakdown of the changes).

Proposed by David Harvey, seconded by Lee Jones – CARRIED 30-0.
